Southeast Georgia is a birder's paradise, offering a wide variety
of habitats and wildlife. Shorelines, salt marshes, old rice fields,
woodlands, tidal rivers, freshwater wetlands and more all host their
own fascinating bird communities. The Colonial Coast Birding &
Nature Festival is not just for birders though, offering field trips
and seminars that will appeal to all types of nature lovers. The
whole family will enjoy spending time in The Rookery, our large
exhibition area that will showcase a variety of different vendors,
conservation groups, kids' activities, arts and crafts, even a live
raptor show!
